01 Request access

Tell us about your catalogue.

Catlist turns a column of supplier links into an import-ready Shopify CSV — copy rewritten, images sourced, variants attached, SEO written. We issue access by hand so we can size your batch and quote it before you spend anything.

48

Shopify columns written per product, in the standard import layout.

12

Checks every row passes before it ships, from its price to its photos.

0

Prices ever taken from a supplier page. Yours or nothing.

4

Places a row can end up — and every one of them is downloadable.

02 Your details

Request an account

Six short answers. They exist so the first reply you get is a real quote and a sensible daily row cap, not a form letter asking what you sell.

Who you are
Leave it blank if the store is not live yet.
Your catalogue
A rough number is fine — it sets the quote and the daily cap.
The output is a Shopify product CSV. Anything else needs a look first.
Links in a sheet is the ideal case. Tell us if it is anything else — a portal, a PDF, an existing export — and we will say honestly whether it fits.
No account is created and no card is asked for. We reply by email.

02 Received

Thanks.

Your request is in.

It is logged against today's date and it goes to the person who sets up accounts — not to an autoresponder. You will get a reply by email, usually within one business day, with what your batch would cost and an account if it is a fit.

04 What you are actually buying

The four things that make the file trustworthy

Every bulk-import tool produces a CSV. These are the four decisions that decide whether you can import it without reading all 500 rows first.

01 / Row identity

Row 12 out is row 12 in

A row is your sheet row, from paste to CSV. Every side column is read at the same absolute line index, so a blank or duplicate link consumes its own index and is reported — it never quietly swallows the next row's price. The row number rides all the way through and is never renumbered, and both CSVs are sorted by it rather than by whichever thread finished first.

02 / Prices

A scraped price is never imported

A price on a supplier page is usually another currency, a sale price, or a related product's. It is logged so you can see what the site said, then dropped. Your own price column is validated as typed, before any number is parsed out of it — so a barcode, a date, a range or 129 kr 50 is refused rather than silently becoming a price. No usable price means an unpublished draft, never 0.00.

03 / Validation

Checked before a single fetch is spent

The whole batch is replayed and graded without running anything: what will ship per row, what you pasted, and a chip for every problem. You see the misalignments, the duplicates and the doubtful prices while fixing them is still free.

04 / Coverage

Works on the sites you buy from

Most supplier and marketplace product pages read without any setup, including Amazon and Shopify stores, and a supplier's redesign does not break your next batch. Send a few links with your request and we show you what comes out.

05 How access works

One account per company, set up and switched off by hand

This is the honest shape of it. There is no self-serve sign-up and no self-serve billing, and we would rather say so here than have you find out at a checkout that does not exist.

How Catlist accounts work
Sign-up This form. A person reads it and replies by email — usually within one business day.
Your sign-in Your own email and a password you set from a one-time link. It signs you in on that device for 30 days.
Your cap A daily row limit sized to your batch. Checked before the first fetch, so a refused batch costs nothing.
Pricing Per product or per batch, quoted against your volume. No card is stored and there is nothing to cancel.
Revoking Immediate, by hand, on request — yours or ours. A switched-off account is signed out on its very next request.
Your data Your links, prices and SKUs are used to run your batch. Supplier lists are not shared or resold.

06 Questions

Before you send it

Why can't I just sign up and pay?
Because every catalogue is different, we size yours with you first. Setting up accounts by hand means your batch is sized and capped before it costs anything, and the first thing you get is a quote, not an invoice.
What do you need from me to start?
A column of supplier product links, and your own price and quantity columns beside them. Paste them straight from your sheet, or upload the sheet as a CSV and map the columns. Tags, SKU, barcode and notes columns are optional and are carried through if you have them.
What happens to prices found on the supplier's page?
They are logged and dropped, always. The price that reaches your CSV is the one you typed or none at all — and if none, the product imports as an unpublished draft tagged MISSING-PRICE rather than going live at zero. The same rule covers SKU and barcode: yours or empty, never invented.
What if some links fail?
Every row ends in exactly one of four places, and all four are downloadable: the import CSV, the dead-link list with the reason, the scraped-fine-but-no-photo list that keeps all its copy, or the dropped-before-scraping list of duplicates and blanks. A row you have to finish by hand always carries its sheet row and its source link, so you can open it.
Does it work on my suppliers' sites?
Usually, because it reads the structured product data a page already publishes rather than site-specific rules. Send a handful of representative links with your request and we will run them before quoting, so the answer is evidence and not a guess.
Do you push products into my store directly?
No, and deliberately not. The output is a CSV you import yourself, so you review the batch before anything appears in your catalogue. Nothing here has write access to your store.
